The Fifth Annual General Meeting & Launch of the Council Website
The Fifth Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka – Greater Mekong Subregion Business Council (SLGMSBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce was held on 7th September 2016 at Hilton Colombo Residences. Hon. Daya Gamage, Minister of Primary Industries was the Chief Guest at this event. His Excellency Min Thein Zan, Ambassador, Embassy of the Union of Myanmar and His Excellency Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy also graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. Her Excellency Phan Kieu Thu, Ambassador, Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was unfortunately unable to attend due to a prior commitment.
This event provided members of the SLGMSBC with an ideal opportunity to network with officials attached to the Embassies of Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in Colombo and other Special Invitees of various Government Institutions.
The Website of the Council was also launched at this occasion by Hon. Daya Gamage.
A lucky winner of the Business Card draw that was held was presented with an Economy Class Air Ticket to Thailand with the courtesy of Thai Airways.
